What is I2I?
The IEEE Institute to Industry (I2I) Forum 2026, organised by the IEEE Circuits and Systems Society, is designed to bridge the gap between academia and industry. It gives students practical insight, industry exposure and a direct line to working professionals.
I2I 5.0 ran in two phases — a full day of in-person sessions and mock interviews at Sai Vidya Institute of Technology, Bengaluru on 1 August 2026, followed by a week of online technical sessions from 3 to 7 August.
Registration for this edition sold out. The forum continued later in the year with I2I 5.1 at Sahyadri, Mangaluru and I2I 5.2 at P.E.S.C.E, Mandya.
Two phases
Phase 1 · In person, 1 August 2026
Interactive sessions, technical discussions and a mock-interview process conducted by industry professionals, on campus at Sai Vidya Institute of Technology. 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
Phase 2 · Online, 3 – 7 August 2026
Five days of online sessions covering key industry-relevant topics and trends, led by practising engineers.
Eligibility
Undergraduate students
3rd and 4th-year B.Tech students in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) and Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE).
Postgraduate students
M.Tech students were also eligible to register.
