What is CircuitAvishkar?

We are excited to invite you to CIRCUITAVISHKAR 2026, a two-day flagship hackathon that celebrates innovation in circuit design, embedded systems, and electronics. The event will be held on 27th and 28th February 2026 at REVA University, Bangalore, Karnataka.

CircuitAvishkar is organized by the IEEE Circuits and Systems Society (CAS), Bangalore Chapter, in collaboration with leading academic and industry partners. This year’s edition is set to be bigger, better, and more impactful, with enhanced problem statements, deeper industry involvement, and increased internship and apprenticeship opportunities for top-performing teams.

Description of Apprenticeship:

Apprenticeship for duration of 11 Months effective from 1st July 2026 till end of June 2027. Identified & selected students will be working on live projects of R&D and other depts. Like Automotive, Post Silicon validation, Connected Secure System, Power Sensor System, Design Enabling Services and IT focusing on Embedded Systems and Securities, VLSI, ADAS, AUTOSAR, Low level Device Drivers, Bluetooth, Wifi, Analog, Digital design and verification, USB, Sensors, Power electronics, Java card, System C, etc..

Eligibility Criteria:

Eligibility for the program requires M.Tech students (Batch 2027) to have completed the 2nd semester, with a 70% aggregate in X, XII/Diploma, and B.Tech/BE. B.Tech/BE students (Batch 2027) should have completed/attending the 6th semester with a 70% aggregate in X, XII. Eligible disciplines include circuit branches like Computer Science, Ai-ML, EEE, ECE, Information Technology, Instrumentation & Control Systems, Embedded Systems, VLSI, and Power Electronics.

No, This Internship is offered by companies without any payments from students. 

Yes, selected candidates would be getting stipend/salary from Infineon.

No, Only team registration are allowed. Individual can form a team of  four members (Max) before registering in the link. One person (Team Lead) can register adding the name of other three participants.

The team size is a maximum of 4 members. If fewer, mark “n/a” for the respective member entry in the registration form. The minimum team size is 2, and teams are open to merging with others of similar size.

Yes, teams can have members from different institutions, but individual approval letters for apprenticeship applications must be provided from their respective colleges.

Students already having apprenticeship offers cannot participate in this hackathon. Please exclude them before forming the team

Yes, travel allowance of Rs. 3000 ( Max per student) would be provided to students travelling more than 1000 km and Rs. 1500 (Max per student) for those you are  traveling within 1000 km . Please note that the allowance is strictly based on reimbursement based on actuals and would be provided after the event upon producing the Bus/train tickets/boarding passes. The above mentioned reimbursement amount would be credited to their bank account post event. No travel reimbursement would be provided against local travel at Bangalore.

Yes, free accommodation will be provided only on February 27th. If you need extension please inform in advance and mail to ieee.cas.bangalore@gmail.com . Separate accommodations for girls will be provided. Participants are requested to bring their own blanket & pillow.

Participants must arrange their own transportation; there will be no pick-up or drop-off services.

Yes, free food will be provided during the event days (27th -28th February). Participants can also purchase food from the canteen.

The fee is per team, and there are no discounts if the number of members is less than 4.

No preselection criteria other than the mentioned eligibility criteria. 
The first 200 registrations will be auto-confirmed.

Review the basics of circuit design and embedded systems.

The number of offers depends on the performance of the participants and company policy.

If one team member drops out, the team can continue if minimum 2 members are there in the team. If all three cancels and one of you would like to continue, then drop an email, if there is possibility of merging you with another team single person can continue. No refunds will be issues to any teams that decides to drop.

The approval letter  is mandatory for all the students who are applying. Its a confirmation that your institute allows 11 months internship and also confirms that you don’t have any other internship offer.
