The first CAS Industry Forum (CASIF 2023) explored how artificial intelligence is reshaping chip design — and how chips are being reshaped for AI. It brought together experts from industry and academia, with representatives of the VLSI Society of India and IEEE.
Talks covered AI-optimised chip architectures, specialised AI processors, the design challenges posed by emerging AI algorithms, and applications from autonomous vehicles and healthcare to edge computing.
The forum also looked beyond the technology, at the responsible and transparent development of AI — privacy, bias and fairness in AI-powered chip design.
